WOW ! ! ! ! Check this out. http://langid.net/

I just found a language identifier on the internet.
Via this blog & work, I receive communication from folks around the world. If/When I know what language they are using, I’m ok. But today looking thru some replies, I got one that there was NO WAY I was going to figure out, without going thru all the languages. HA!!! Not any more. I went there and pasted in what was written and it gave me the language. Went to the google translator and Boom. Translated it.

Computer Keyboard PRINT SCREEN

Here’s a good trick for you.
Especially when you are making a purchase online.
Have it up on your screen, then, hit the Print Screen Button.
It is located on the top row, to the right of standard keyboard by all those F1-12 keys.
Now open up paint & click the Edit Button, then paste.
Remember to save it with a name & in a place that’s easy for you to remember.

NOTE: If you have a laptop, you may need to hold down the fn button (lower left corner by the control button) and then press the Insert button (upper right. top row)

Believe me, I do that with EVERY Purchase I make No matter What it is.
Be sure the info you need is visible on the computer screen, because that is what you will see when you paste it.

Rss Feeds, Mirror, Back up, Blogengine

Folks, I don’t have a CLUE about any of these things.
I was able to Google up some info.

Rss Feeds:
The following steps will show you how to locate the RSS feed on your favorite blog, or through your web browser. PLEASE Copy & Paste the link below
http://webtrends.about.com/od/webfeedsyndicationrss/ss/rss_howto.htm

BLOGENGINE:
I had to ask my friend if my blog is blogengine. Well…
I use wordpress, while this is a “Blog Engine”, it is NOT “Blogengine”
There is a difference in that statement. (TY, Toni)

MIRROR & BACK UP:
Sorry, you guys are really on your own. Don’t know if there is any to my blogs.

I hope this info helps.

Internet Browser - You should have at least two.

For all the things I don’t know here’s one I DO know.
It is wise to have at least one extra browser on your computer.

EXAMPLE of Why: You know how it seems you are downloading things left & right from the internet? Well, if you only have 1 browser (Internet Explorer, is the one that usually comes with your computer, and something goes wrong with that, It can be a BAD thing. I know because it almost happened to me. But, Aha!, I had another browser which allowed me to connect to the internet to redo my Explorer.

So, While I use & prefer Mozilla & Google, I also keep the Explorer, ONLY because Microsoft updates and a couple of other sites I use at work, are only set for the Explorer.

Those who don’t understand about Browsers:
The browser is what you use, every time you go on the internet. Again I have my preference as many do. But there are many browsers to choose from. Each one offering it’s own Novelties. All you have to do is type in Internet Browsers and you’ll get a list to choose from.

Keeping a credit card without a balance can help your credit score. But by not using your credit card, you risk having the card canceled due to inactivity, which can lower your credit score.
